It’s time to take to the skies in LEAP – a fast-paced, online multiplayer first-person shooter from indie developer Blue Isle Studios where aerial combat is, frankly, the name of the game.
The closed beta for the PC game is available now through January 21 at 6pm PST, letting players check out the high-flying action that features epic battles with up to 60 players.
In LEAP, you’ll join up with one of the warring factions – the United Earth Defense Coalition (UEDC) or the rebel Exo-Terran – and select from one of four unique classes, each with its own special abilities, weapons, and fighting style. Coupled with your exosuit with a jetpack that lets you soar to new heights, as well as hoverboards and flying segway, LEAP has all the makings of a fun, futuristic, and large scale FPS – complete with orbital strikes, automated base turrets, vehicles, and control guided cruise missiles to turn the tides of battle in your team’s favor.
The closed beta test is available to play now. Interested players can sign up to receive a beta key directly from the game’s official website. No date has been revealed yet, but LEAP will soon be making its way to Steam Early Access.
