It’s a bit of a slow week to kick off the year, with more ports and Early Access releases than full launches, but here are our picks for this week’s indie Weekend Playlist.
An Outcry (PC)
Interested in kicking off your year in the horror genre? Look no further than An Outcry – from developer Quinn K. An Outcry is a branching-path narrative horror RPG set in Vienna, Austria, where you take on the role of “The Unnamed” – a 25-year-old shut-in who manages to get themselves locked out of their apartment, forcing them to spend the evening looking for a way in as they encounter the shadows and terrors that the night brings. The game features roughly four hours of gameplay, with five different endings that can play out. An Outcry is available now on PC via Steam and is currently 10%-off.
