Sure, everyone knows that if you’re looking to play as iconic horror legends such as Michael Myers or Ghost Face, then Dead by Daylight is the obvious way to go. Soon, however, Call of Duty: Warzone players will be able to take part in the game’s Halloween event that will feature some notable killer characters.
Treyarch and Activision announced today that Jigsaw and Leatherface will be a part of the Haunting of Verdansk in-game seasonal event, which will run from October 20th to November 3rd. More accurately, the famous serial killers will be available as skins during the event and will be available to purchase via the in-game store.
The trailer itself looks like a wartime horror movie, showing off all of the fun seasonal content that players can expect from the battle royale. (Seriously, did you see the Headless Horseman dude with the minigun!?)
In addition to the killer skins, players will also be facing off against fallen players who have come back as zombies. Instead of duking it out in the Gulag, players will return as zombies with heightened melee skills and faster movements looking to take down players who are still alive. It’s a lucrative strategy to do so, as well, since slain players could potentially drop syringes that will bring zombie players back to life within the haunted land of Verdansk.
If that’s not enough to convince you to jump into Warzone, the limited-time event will also feature a Trick-or-Treat looting system with Supply Boxes that might reward players with special items, not to mention the additional goodies that will be available in the store.
