A new teaser trailer was shown off at this year’s Tokyo Game Show for Unholy, an upcoming first-person psychological horror title from indie publisher, HOOK, and Polish developer Duality Games. The game is slated to be released in 2023 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
PREVIOUSLY: 31 Days Of Halloween: Gord
In Unholy, players explore a dreary post-soviet town in search of a missing child. They will uncover the truth by venturing into a dark and twisted world, using innovative combat mechanics and puzzle-solving skills.
In this psychological horror game, players will explore two dark and twisted worlds: a post-soviet town in Eastern Europe, and the even more nightmarish world of “Unholy” — a parallel universe ruled by a cruel religious order.
There will also seemingly be a stealth aspect to the game, as everyone in the unholy world hides behind a mask — often being the deciding factor between life and death. Make your own mask to gain new abilities and enhance your skills, or wear other masks to infiltrate, perplex your opponents, and impersonate them.
Unholy will launch next year, but you can wishlist it right now on Steam.
