League of Geeks recently announced that its next upcoming title will be Solium Infernum, a re-imagined vision of Vic Davis’ cult-classic strategy game from 2009.

The popular, demonic turn-based game is being revamped by Armello creators, and is set to release on PC in 2023

Players will be able to delve further into a reinvented version of Solium Infernum, which includes all-new single-player scenarios and asynchronous multiplayer games that may need sharp skills and political smarts to win. The title will be modernized in 3D, with a completely new visual user interface to bring it in line with League of Geek’s distinctive and renowned aesthetic and production standards.

“The original Solium Infernum is one of the most remarkable video games ever made. Its evocative, Milton-inspired vision of Hell and deep focus on political intrigue are unlike anything else on the market,” stated Trent Kusters, Co-Founder and Director, League of Geeks. “We are honored and ecstatic to bring Solium Infernum back into the limelight it has always deserved!”

The trailer for Solium Infernum is intense, which bodes incredibly well for bringing the game into the modern era. The original Solium Infernum was released in 2009 and quickly gained a cult following for its diabolical take on turn-based strategy gaming.

Solium Infernum is slated for release in 2023 on PC via Steam.
